Due to a water main break, Minneapolis Central Library will close at 5:15 pm on Monday, March 27.
The spacious two-story North Regional Library in north Minneapolis was built in 1971 and completely renovated in 2007. Previously, the community was served by a library in North High School in the 1890s and then for many decades by North Branch Library at 1834 Emerson Avenue North.

In March, kids are invited to vote for two book awards at any Hennepin County library: Star of the North (preK-grade 8) and Maud Hart Lovelace (grades 3-8).
Hennepin County libraries do not have State or Federal print tax forms, but we can point you to helpful tax resources.
Join us at North Regional Library to learn new things, be inspired and connect with others. Library events are free and open to all.
Join these volunteers who work closely with library staff to raise awareness of library services, raise funds, and plan programs and events.
