Welcome and Call to Order

Chair Lynn Stetler called the Executive Committee meeting of May 28, 2026, to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed all in attendance.

Attendance of Library Board Members

Library Board Clerk Lillian Albrecht took the roll call. The Board met the quorum with three members present.

June 17, 2026, Board Meeting Agenda

The committee reviewed and edited the draft agenda. They approved a June staff dialogue on planned giving from the Friends of Hennepin County Library and clarified the process of accepting donations. An agenda item was added to further discuss inviting Commissioners to Board meetings and the clerk will include a copy of the meeting schedule noting the district of the host library in the June packet. Finally, they requested summaries of Policy Committee discussions included in advance of full Board policy reviews. Committee members will check-in after the June meeting on the effectiveness of these summaries.
