Northeast Library will reopen Monday, November 17

Northeast Library will reopen to the public Monday, November 17, 2025. The building has been closed for a planned renovation project. Work included refreshing the interior with new paint, carpet, and some furnishings; adding new play structures in the children’s area and two new study rooms; and completing preservation work while replacing the roof and tuckpointing exterior brick.

The library will reopen with regularly scheduled hours:

• Monday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Tuesday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Wednesday: Noon – 8 p.m.
• Thursday: Noon – 8 p.m.
• Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed

Reopening celebration

Join us to celebrate the reopening of Northeast Library on Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will feature live art making with a Face-O-Mat booth presented by local artist Andrea From, as well as a variety of family-friendly activities including a story stroll, making of a community art mural, and games. Refreshments will be served.
