Progress update on Northeast Library project

Work continues on the Northeast Library facilities modification project. Recent work highlights include:

• Carpet and painting refresh complete
• Two new study rooms nearing completion
• Preservation work/roof replacement starting mid-July

New children and teen areas

The Northeast Library will have some brand-new enhancements in the children’s and teen areas. The children’s space will host a custom-made imagination station and light table that will provide new play themes every month. The new teen space will have a large magnetic board where teens can play tic tac toe, create a ball run, create poetry, and display their art.
