Untitled (Vices and Virtues)

About the art

There’s more than art here—there’s also a quick morality lesson. Each of these seven canvases represents one of the seven virtues: prudence, justice, hope, temperance, faith, fortitude and charity. (That said, the title also gives a nod to the seven vices, so perhaps you can choose which way you want to go.) Regardless of meaning and morality, these oil-on-canvas works present an interesting abstract landscape for viewers to peruse.
